Final Project: Storyboard

Recently, we had to work on creating a storyboard to represent our final project- this is how I chose to map out the scene. While I decided to go with a more visual storyboard- my brain is very visual in how it organizes things and I figured it would be best to just translate my inner storyboard to a more physical one- I also made sure to include notes and cues in writing to help specify what exactly should be going on in the shot to make things easier for me later when I translate my storyboards into a visual mini-movie. Overall, I believe that with the way I plan on shooting my film, my storyboard properly conveys the general idea I have for my two minute film.

I made an extra effort to focus on details like cutting on action, as well as zooming in/out and keeping a harsh lighting. All these details I pointed out will help to really create a suspenseful feeling to my film, regardless of what changes from the basic storyboard to the final product. I will admit, I had a lot of struggle getting this storyboard done, because I wanted to properly convey my ideas onto paper both visually and technically and it was not going well for a while. I did eventually get it completed- and I am satisfied with the final product- its a heavy suggestion, but not an intense rubric for the end result.
