Peer Review!
One of our assignments constituted us to leave comments on our other classmates’ posts- I left a comment on Jazmine’s post as well as Tuyetnhi’s. Both of these classmates in my opinion did really well not only with the camera shots and angles that they portrayed, but with their use of materials, as well.
Jazmine used people as her muse, with me even helping with some of the shots she published. Since I was there with Jazmine while she took these shots, I have a more personalized experience with them- we had fun taking our shots and working with each other.
For Tuyetnhi’s, she used a plushie- an inanimate object- as the subject for her shots. It gave a character to not only her shots but the personality of the director as well. Making something inanimate have a kind of personality is a difficult thing to do in a few short clips- but I think my classmate managed to do just that!
I enjoy looking at other people’s work- it helps me know where my strongsuits and my weakpoints are. I like to see where I may do things differently, and what that means about me and the person I’m studying. I’m really excited to see where my classmates take their work next, and where that’ll take me, too.
Goodbye for now! Signing off <3
