Final Project: Moodboard!

As I've mentioned before, I plan on my final project being set in a horror/thriller genre- my moodboard I've created focuses on leaning into the gloomy, dark, almost mysterious vibes of the genre. The moodboard I've created also sets a heavy focus on certain motifs, like the forest, brambles, and canines. I chose these motifs because they can create a feeling of dread, or helplessness, when used together to give the idea of being hunted down in an unfamiliar area- without you even fully realizing it until it is too late.

Another detail about my moodboard is the consistent color palette. If possible, I want to place a filter over my entire film opening to give a cohesive palette to every shot, no matter when or where it is taken- similar to how Twilight uses a blue filter to really emphasize the cold, rainy enviornment of Forks. I chose a blue-green because, despite these colors playing a large role in natural, woodsy environments, they can also create an unsettling visual where they do not belong, reinforcing the sense of mystery and being followed if the colors remain consistent.
